About us

Fabric Architect specializes in architectural fabric structures using a variety of independent contractors.

We specialize in shade and water protection structures using durable fabrics for high-traffic guest environments (theme parks, zoos, waterfronts, commercial outdoor dining and amphitheaters, just to name a few).

We design and build custom umbrellas, awnings, tents, tensile structure, shade structures and textile facades for outdoor spaces and parking garages too.

We primarily use Teflon coated fiberglass (PTFE), vinyl coated polyester (PVC) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE).

The company is owned and operated by Sam and Miriam Armijos. Since 1987, we have coordinated the design, engineering and construction of a variety of fabric structures around the world from awnings to dome stadiums.
